
In this a project, a friend and I worked together to develop a game concept. We met a few times and brainstormed the Idea of a Studio Ghibli inspired setting of a city populated by cats. The game is supposed to be a third-person RPG, where the player has to solves puzzles in order to free the brother of the protagonist, who got kidnapped by the local mafia.
We continued by making moodboards for the over style and environment and characters.
Together with my friend I filled in The Game Design Document.
Afterwards I continued by coming up with a Log-Line:
A young stubborn girl with magic powers tries to save her little brother who got kidnapped by the local mafia on her own, even though her master forbids it.
I continued with and build a story spine, so we know how the story should play out. I used Twine for it, since it's UI resembles a pin board.

In the next step, I filled in a self-made character sheet for the main character Mimi, her brother Bo and the Villain Vadim.
In the last step I wrote an example scene from the beginning of the potential game, to practice writing.
